If you are looking for a big recap, you can forget it - I'm angry!
The match was even after the first day, with Andy Rosen and Steve Buffington taking both their matches and Paul Rodrigues and Kirk Weller taking both of theirs.
On Sunday, Andy and Steve again won 2-1, but Art Keddy and Bob Adams finished 2-1 for Big Will's Red Team. So the match was all even when one of Willie, Jr. players mistakenly picked up his ball, forgetting that he was getting a stroke on the 16th hole, and conceding a hole he had a chance to win. That was the difference in the entire match, as the group had halved the front side and halved their other singles match. Outrageous!

Club Championship
Another hard fought battle in the Club Championship, but Tim Cuthbert held on to win his third consecutive title. Tim played the first round in a blistering 58, on the strength of 4 birdies (none held) against 1 bogey. Jim Lyons finished the first round in 64 to stand in second place, 6 shots back, and followed up with a 69 in the afternoon. That was the low score of the second round, as the wheels came off for the field, with the pressure and conditions taking a toll. Only 3 birdies were made in the afternoon. Tim was leaking oil badly on the final nine, but fortunately had built enough of a lead he was able to hang on for the 3 stroke victory. Pictures

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold weather to play yesterday. We tried to get a fire going to warm everyone up, but unfortunately the Plymouth and Carver fire departments did not agree that this was a good idea. Jim Judge had a great day on the course, and teamed up with Padraig Harrington to take home top honors.
